Great Wall Motors Signs Strategic Agreement with Unitree Robotics for Factory and Automotive Automation

The China Electric Vehicle Hundred People Forum (2025) was held in Beijing from March 28 to March 30, themed “Consolidating Electrification, Advancing Intelligence, and Achieving High-Quality Development.”
During an interview at the forum, Wu Huixiao, CTO of Great Wall Motors, revealed that the company has signed a strategic agreement with Unitree Robotics . Under the agreement, Unitree will handle motion control and mechanical systems, while Great Wall Motors will focus on upper-layer application development. The collaboration will primarily target applications in factory automation and automotive scenarios, including the Great Wall Motors Xushui Production Base.

According to Great Wall Motors’ 2024 financial report, the company achieved a total operating revenue of 202.195 billion yuan (approximately $28.2 billion), marking a year-on-year increase of 16.73%. Net profit attributable to shareholders reached 12.692 billion yuan ($1.76 billion), up 80.76% year-on-year, while non-GAAP net profit rose 101.4% to 9.735 billion yuan ($1.35 billion).
