LimX Dynamics, the Shenzhen humanoid-robot maker, has closed a Pre-IPO round of nearly $200 million, pushing its post-money valuation to 15 billion yuan and into the ranks of China’s super unicorns. The round drew global capital from China, Europe, the Middle East, North America and Southeast Asia. New investors include IDG Capital, Lens Technology, the Europe-focused G.G.G. Group and Redstone VC, Huashan Capital and Hefei Binhu Industrial Development Group. UAE-based Stone Venture doubled down across multiple rounds, while Oasis Capital, Cornerstone Capital, Nanshan Strategic Emerging Investment, Shangqi Capital and NIO Capital all topped up their stakes.

Founded in 2022 with its global headquarters in Shenzhen, LimX Dynamics builds AI-driven general-purpose humanoids and the multi-form TRON robot. It works across three pillars: hardware design and manufacturing, brain-body fusion, and an embodied-agent operating system. Its three-layer stack runs from System 0, a whole-body motion base model, through System 1, the FluxVLA enterprise open-source training platform, to System 2, the COSA agent OS built on large language models and world models.

Commercially, LimX Dynamics has booked thousands of robot orders, more than half from overseas, spanning research, services, all-terrain inspection, industry and construction. Its full-size interactive humanoid LimX Luna, launched in May, reached customers at home and abroad within a month. The new TRON 2 multi-form robot drew heavy overseas orders on the strength of modular design. Proceeds will fund brain-body fusion and productisation, the scaled deployment of thousands of autonomous humanoids, and deeper expansion into the Middle East, Europe and the rest of Asia.
