On 16 October, California-headquartered Faraday Future (Nasdaq: FFAI) and FF EAI Robotics Ecosystem (Nasdaq: FFR) jointly announced the FF Nova and FF Nova Mini humanoid robots together with FF Robot World 2.0.
FF Nova is positioned as an entry-level embodied-intelligence humanoid priced at USD 2,490 for the body and USD 390 for a developer skill pack, aimed at developers, enthusiasts and education institutions. It offers 20 degrees of freedom, supports bipedal walking, turning and self-righting after being knocked over, and can connect to voice large models and AI agents. It is compatible with the ROS 2 development flow and supports over-the-air updates. The launch runs in three phases: a limited first batch of 100 units with 20 delivered first, and a consumer version in phase three.

FF Nova Mini is priced at USD 299 for the body and USD 499 for a companion course, aimed at children and teenagers aged 8 and above. It weighs under 1 kilogram, supports block-based visual programming and manual teaching, and ships with a stepped curriculum and teacher training. The company also launched a Physical AI starter programme and an NVIDIA Isaac-based reinforcement-learning developer plan, with a limited developer community recruitment opening at the same time.
Sales will run through FF’s website, FF Mall and Amazon, as well as direct and partner offline channels.
Separately, FFAI and FFR signed a definitive agreement on 12 October under which FFR will acquire FFAI’s robot assets and business in an all-stock deal valued at about USD 200 million, at USD 2.246 per share, a roughly 50 per cent premium to the closing price on the signing date, with closing expected by the end of the month. After the deal, FFR becomes the first pure-play humanoid and bionic-robot ecosystem stock on US exchanges, with FFAI holding about 65.7 per cent. FFR also signed an initial PIPE financing of up to USD 10 million.
