China’s industrial-robot champion Estun delivers over 10,000 units in a single quarter

According to MIR DATABANK, Estun topped China’s full-brand industrial-robot shipment rankings in the first half of 2026, and in the second quarter became the first domestic brand to deliver more than 10,000 robots in a single quarter.

The lead is durable. Estun first took the national crown in 2025 with a 10.6 per cent share and 25 per cent annual shipment growth, lifting local brands’ combined share above 56 per cent. It has now led domestic shipments for eight consecutive years and six consecutive quarters.

The moat is vertical. While peers lean on academies or overseas M&A, Estun spends more than 10 per cent of revenue on R&D, holds 634 authorised patents, and controls the entire chain from core components to finished machines, 96 models spanning 3kg to 1,200kg. On the 1,200kg heavy-load tier it achieved 100 per cent core-component self-reliance, cracking dual-motor synchronisation and hard-synchronous reducers.

Embodied intelligence is the next front. Estun’s iER.OS control system underpins RoboBase, an open industrial-embodied platform linking perception, compute, decision and execution. Its cobot subsidiary grew shipments over 40 per cent in Q1 2026 and has shipped humanoids, Codroid01, Codroid02 and Panshi C05-L, to round out the high-end line-up.

The financials confirm the turn. Estun expects first-half net profit to jump 2,145 per cent to 2,594 per cent year on year. From car plants, 90 per cent automation with 200-plus robots installed in 60 days, to BOE cleanrooms with 1,000-plus light clean robots, Chinese industrial robots are embedding across 253 industrial categories, and the domestic market has grown at a 29 per cent annual clip for five years.
