Guangdong Jiateng Robot Automation, a veteran mobile-robot maker, has closed a strategic round of tens of millions of yuan led by Hella-CTRL, with Dahe Fund and Jinmu Capital following. Orient Paper has held about 19.84 per cent since a 2014 strategic stake, remaining the second-largest shareholder. The new capital lines up tightly with the robotics chain: Hella-CTRL makes control brains for servo motors and joint control, while Dahe’s backers include Orient Paper, Leju Robot and Hella-CTRL itself.
Founded in 2002, Jiateng is an early Chinese AGV player with more than 700 patents and software copyrights, six AGV generations, over 500 models from 5 to 220 tonnes, and annual AGV capacity of 10,000 units. In October 2025 it won orders for more than 1,000 AGVs from two new-energy giants. Across more than 2,000 industrial projects it has accumulated 270 million hours of field-operation data, the moat it now brings to industrial embodied intelligence.
Its iCORE embodied-intelligence chassis supports 360-degree in-place omnidirectional steering, a 100-kilogram load and VLA or VLM control, fitting material handling, line feeding and sorting, and compatible with humanoids, AGVs, AMRs and unmanned forklifts. The chassis is now in volume shipment at 150 to 200 units a month, with annual capacity potentially above 100,000, and Jiateng is running proof-of-concept trials of 15-kilogram dual-arm humanoids with Leju Robot. Its products reach over 30 countries, with more than 20,000 AGVs deployed and overseas revenue above 60 per cent, serving GAC, Toyota, Volkswagen, Huawei and Midea.
