Frost & Sullivan has published its 2026 Global Humanoid Robot Market Research Report, and the first-half league table reads like a Shenzhen scoreboard. All five of the world’s top humanoid-robot vendors by revenue in the first half of 2026 are Chinese. Two of them are based in Shenzhen.
The ranking
Global humanoid sales reached 35,000 units in 2025, worth about US$500 million. In the first half of 2026 alone, sales hit 36,000 units and revenue reached US$540 million, already above the full-year 2025 total. Measured by revenue, the top five are all Chinese. UBTECH took the global number-one spot with RMB 620 million in revenue and a 16.5 per cent share. AgiBot ranked second at RMB 610 million and 16.1 per cent. Unitree was third at RMB 580 million and 15.3 per cent. Galaxy General and Leju took fourth and fifth with RMB 210 million and RMB 150 million respectively. Together the five Chinese vendors hold 57.4 per cent of global humanoid revenue.
Why Shenzhen
By geography, Shenzhen occupies two of the five seats: UBTECH at the top and Leju at number five. The report argues the lead rests on a relatively complete manufacturing system, mature supply-chain support and a wealth of deployment scenarios, which give Chinese makers an edge in whole-machine integration, fast product iteration and scaled delivery.
The result is a clean signal for Western builders and investors watching the category. China’s humanoid industry has moved from prototype theatre to delivered product at volume, and one city supplies a disproportionate share of the names at the top of the table.
