IO-AI Tech closes several-hundred-million-yuan round backed by Shunwei and Shenzhen Capital

IO-AI Tech, a robotics and embodied-intelligence data-infrastructure company, has closed a several-hundred-million-yuan funding round. The round was backed by Shunwei Capital, SongHe Capital and Shenzhen Capital Group, with a strategic investment from a leading robot original-equipment manufacturer.

The company said the proceeds will go mainly into core product development, building a more diversified team and expanding into global markets. The aim is to deepen the closed loop across teleoperation data collection, human-action capture, data management and training, lowering the barrier for embodied-AI models to reach the real world and accelerating the shift from proof-of-concept to scaled deployment.

Founded in 2023, IO-AI Tech focuses on real-world data capabilities for robots and embodied intelligence. It develops hardware and software in house and offers an end-to-end stack covering robot teleoperation, human-action data capture and embodied-data management, giving robot makers, embodied-AI model companies and industrial customers the data backbone for scaled use.

Its three product lines are TeleXperience, a general robot teleoperation capture system; SenseXperience, a real-world human-action capture system built from Ego, Wrist, UMI and Compute modules that feed first-person, wrist and hand-interaction data to VLA, Physical AI and world models; and EmbodiFlow, a management platform handling multi-robot, multi-sensor, multi-format capture, labelling, review and export.

The company says it has served more than 150 robot makers and embodied-AI customers worldwide, adapted to over 80 robot models spanning humanoids, arms and mobile robots, and has open-sourced several real-world datasets plus offline visualisation tools LeRobot Studio and ROSView.
