On 2 September, the new-generation Li Auto MEGA launched, offering a single MEGA Home version at RMB 509,800, with delivery this week. It comes standard with a 108 kWh ternary 5C ultra-fast-charge battery, front and rear dual-motor all-wheel drive, CLTC pure-electric range of 710 km, and 10 minutes of 5C charging adds 500 km of range.
Versus the previous RMB 559,800 MEGA Home family special edition, the new gen adds steer-by-wire, rear-wheel steering, an 800V active anti-roll bar, dual Mach M100 chips, four lidar and a new smart cockpit, yet cuts RMB 50,000; it is also RMB 20,000 cheaper than the old entry version.
The only option is 2.5 square metres of 270-degree electrochromic glass at RMB 15,000, free for returning Li Auto owners.
One version, the Home experience
The new MEGA measures 5,355 by 1,965 by 1,850 mm with a 3,300 mm wheelbase, a 2+2+3 seven-seat layout. Versus the current model it is 5 mm longer, otherwise unchanged, with a 0.215 drag coefficient and the signature droplet body. The headlights upgrade to ADB matrix, 40 per cent brighter.

Inside, a Home Light ceiling main lamp adds 396 LEDs at 3,500K with multi-level dimming, plus a starfield ambient strip. Two longitudinal sunroofs join the front one for three independent sunroofs and three electric shades; second-row side windows also gain electric shades, five shades total. Seats are a focus: front zero-gravity seats standard, second row keeps rotating zero-gravity seats with floating cushions and diamond-grid Nappa leather, three soft pillows per seat with heated head and leg rests, ventilation and 18-point hot-stone massage. Third row gains ventilation. The whole cabin has 31 heating points.
The table redesigned: two second-row power tables auto-open and self-level with backrest angle via eight gears. A combined dining table folds to a side table, or extends across the second and third rows.
The 270-degree electrochromic glass covers second and third side windows and the rear window, 2.5 square metres total.
Rear-wheel steering and active anti-roll on a 108 kWh battery
The chassis upgrades throughout. Standard steer-by-wire and rear-wheel steering shorten the minimum turning radius from 6.2 to 5.5 metres and feed smart-parking path planning. Steer-by-wire drops the mechanical link for speed- and scene-based ratio.

The 800V active anti-roll magic-carpet chassis pairs dual-chamber air springs, dual-valve CDC dampers and an 800V active anti-roll bar responding in 30 milliseconds to support the body in turns. An “Elephant Welcome” mode tilts the body 30 mm down and rotates the second-row seat 45 degrees for easy entry.
Power keeps front and rear dual motors, front 155 kW, rear raised to 258 kW, total 413 kW, top speed 200 km/h. The 108 kWh ternary 5C battery gives 710 km CLTC; at Li Auto 5C stations, 10 minutes adds 500 km.
Full ADAS hardware swap, four lidar standard
The cockpit uses a Qualcomm 8797 chip, a 29-inch 6K OLED panoramic screen up front and a 21-inch 4K OLED movable rear screen, with a 9.3.6 star-ring theatre audio at 5,440W peak.

The new MEGA standardises the dual-Mach embodied-intelligence suite with two self-developed Mach M100 chips and four lidar, adding side and rear solid-state units versus the old single-lidar layout. It runs Li Auto’s latest Mach VLA driving model with highway and urban navigation assist, smart parking and active safety.
