Zhejiang Humanoid shows one base running factory, shop and home at WRC 2026

At WRC 2026, Zhejiang Humanoid Innovation Centre brought its NAVIAI range to booth C-105 and argued for one idea: a single technology base should run every scene, not a different robot per job. The base is SPIRE, a fusion of a world model that reads the environment and predicts change with an embodied model that acts, so the machine moves from ‘understands the words’ to ‘does the right move’.

Industrial: a cluster, not a demo

On the factory floor three NAVIAI wheel-arm robots ran a task-level chain, splitting assembly, assigning steps and covering unstacking, sorting, moving and fitting at 0.03 mm precision. The group said this mirrors work already done on car lines and overseas plants, and shows humanoids moving from single-function units to a reconfigurable flexible line.

Commercial: a pod that sells

In a retail pod the robot filled a single drink order in 40 seconds and recognised drinks, figures and small goods at above 98 per cent, then handed them over. The draw was strong enough to sell limited collector figures on the spot, a test of whether a general robot can pull customers into a store, not just replace a checkout.

Home: a full cook loop

The home chef robot broke the single-task limit, running fetch, prep, fry and clean-up as one unmanned loop built on the industrial brain. The data-collection corner showed the quieter engine: an operator in a haptic glove drives a dexterous hand, and every move emits vision, force and touch data that feeds straight back into the model. Operation is collection, collection is evolution.

Two NAVIAI units, a biped i3 and a wheel-arm WA2, even staged a Qixi wedding skit, making the point that one base can carry precision work and a human story alike. For European buyers the model is the message: a shared base and hardware stack, iterated in real jobs, is cheaper to scale than a shelf of single-purpose machines, and the data loop is the moat.
