Shenzhen Bojiang Robotics (博匠机器人) has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with a leading Hong Kong smart-construction company, marking its move from “pilot use” to “scaled deployment” in the Hong Kong and Macau market. Under the deal, the Hong Kong firm will buy construction robots, intelligent equipment and related technical services from Bojiang worth no less than RMB 200 million, pushing intelligent and AI upgrades across Hong Kong’s building industry.
Bojiang had already深耕 the Hong Kong market before the deal, with products deployed in over 20 projects spanning public housing, subsidised homes, private residences, commercial buildings and industrial works. As a core Chinese player in construction robotics, Bojiang focuses on full-stack in-house R&D, scaled deployment and whole-lifecycle service, holding more than 1,200 granted invention patents.
A full-matrix product line
In March the company launched five series of embodied construction robots covering the entire workflow — from concrete groundwork and precision surveying to painting and finishing, floor grinding and high-rise exterior work. The concrete series (Tongjiang) automates levelling and trowelling with over 95% pass rate within ±5 mm and up to 300 sqm/h, saving 2–3 workers; the surveying robot (Jingjiang) hits ±1 mm accuracy and cuts total cost ~70% versus manual; the painting robot (Yijiang) reaches 6.5 m height at up to 6x manual efficiency; the floor series (Gongjiang) and facade series (Lingjiang, with the T100喷涂 robot for 100 m+ exteriors and MQ200 cleaner for 200 m+ curtain walls) replace humans in high-risk aerial work.
Market reach and policy tailwind
With deployments across some 15 countries and regions, Bojiang has delivered over 5,400 robot units across more than 1,600 projects, covering over 50 million sqm. Traditional construction suffers from crude methods, labour shortages and slow transformation; construction robots take over high-risk, repetitive, heavy manual steps. Policy is turning favourable — China’s 2026 Government Work Report named intelligent construction as a core direction, and the 2025–2027 plan pushes automated machinery, construction robots and 3D printing. One forecast puts the global construction-robot market at about USD 620 million by 2029, a ~11% CAGR from 2024.
