Estun has topped China’s industrial-robot shipment rankings again, and this time crossed a threshold no domestic brand had reached: more than 10,000 robots delivered in a single quarter.
According to MIR DATABANK, in the first half of 2026 Estun again led all brands in China’s industrial-robot shipments. In the second quarter it became the first domestic brand to deliver over 10,000 robots in a single quarter.
The lead is not new. In 2025 Estun first took the top spot among all brands in China, local and foreign, with a 10.6 per cent share and 25 per cent annual shipment growth, pushing domestic-brand share above 56 per cent. It has now led domestic-brand shipments for eight straight years and all-brand shipments for six straight quarters.
The question is what keeps it ahead. Estun puts over 10 per cent of revenue into R&D, holds 634 authorised patents, and controls the full stack from core components to complete machines across 96 models from 3 kg to 1,200 kg.
In the 1,200 kg heavy-load segment it achieved 100 per cent local control of core components, cracking dual-motor synchronisation and dual-reducer hard-sync tech.
On embodied intelligence, Estun built the RoboBase industrial embodied-AI platform on its iER.OS control system, linking perception, computation, decision and execution. Its subsidiary Estun Cocz makes cobots, 17 S-series models from 3 to 35 kg, deployed across 107 scenarios in 370-plus factories, with first-quarter cobot shipments up over 40 per cent. It has also rolled out the Codroid01, Codroid02 and Panshi C05-L humanoids.
The earnings back it up. Estun expects first-half 2026 net profit up 2,144.74 per cent to 2,593.68 per cent year on year.
The wider picture: Chinese domestic-brand industrial robots now cover 253 of the economy’s industry categories, with domestic sales growing at a 29 per cent compound annual rate over five years. From traditional lines to smart autonomous operations, local robots are embedding deep into the real economy.
