Mech-Mind Robotics clears CSRC for Hong Kong IPO: 27,000+ industrial vision deployments

China’s largest industrial 3D vision company has cleared the regulatory hurdle for a Hong Kong listing. Mech-Mind Robotics, founded by Tsinghua returnees in 2016, received CSRC approval on 7 August to proceed with its IPO.

The filing sets out an offer of up to 27.48 million overseas ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Thirty-two existing shareholders will convert a combined 89.92 million domestic unlisted shares into listed shares, achieving full float.

Mech-Mind is one of the few companies globally with full-stack self-developed capability across the “eye-brain-hand” chain. Its product portfolio spans the Mech-Eye series of industrial 3D cameras, Mech-Vision graphical machine vision software, the Mech-GPT multimodal embodied large model and the Mech-Hand five-finger dexterous hand, forming a complete closed loop from perception through decision to execution.

At WAIC 2026 earlier this month, Mech-Mind demonstrated multi-robot collaborative applications for humanoid robots in industrial settings. Two humanoid units equipped with the eye-brain-hand stack autonomously completed feeding, assembly and tote handling tasks in sequence, using the embodied brain for intelligent perception and AI planning combined with the Mech-Hand for fine manipulation.

Commercial deployment has reached scale. Mech-Mind’s embodied intelligence products have been installed more than 27,000 times worldwide, serving over 100 Fortune 500 customers including Toyota, BMW, Siemens and SF Express across automotive manufacturing, consumer electronics, lithium batteries, photovoltaics and logistics warehousing.

On the capital side, Mech-Mind has completed 15 funding rounds since inception, raising more than 2 billion yuan in total from investors including Meituan, Sequoia China, IDG Capital, Source Code Capital, Xiong’an Fund and大洋电机.

The regulatory clearance carries weight beyond one company. As an upstream perception and intelligence infrastructure supplier rather than a humanoid OEM, Mech-Mind’s path to a public listing signals that scalable profitability and global deployment in embodied intelligence are no longer theoretical. The sector is moving from concept trading into value realisation.
