StarBot brings a full-stack embodied family to WRC, with a logistics deal already in ten centres

StarBot (Star Agent) came to WRC 2026 with a full family and a claim it has already passed the hardest test in robotics: product-market fit. The headline exhibit was an end-to-end embodied logistics plan, the first in the field to clear PMF, running with SF Express and China Post across more than ten logistics centres and praised by a foreign-ministry spokesperson.

Body: the L7 biped

The flagship L7 is a full-size biped with 55 degrees of freedom and one-to-one whole-body teleoperation, a source of real motion and interaction data for training world models and VLA policies. StarBot says over 95 per cent of its hardware is self-built, across bipeds, service humans and direct-drive five-finger hands.

Hands: XHAND 1 and 1 PRO

The XHAND 1 runs 12 active degrees of freedom, grips up to 25 kg and clicks ten times a second, covering parcel labels, pipettes and screws, more than 100 tasks. The 1 PRO adds 21 active degrees and 18 palm tactile sensors with 0.01 N sensitivity and plus or minus 0.1 mm repeatability, feeding high-fidelity kinematics to shrink the sim-to-real gap. It speaks UR and Franka arm protocols and 24 to 72 V power.

Form: the Q5 service bot

The Q5 brings upgraded human-like interaction, taking voice commands, answering and moving together for guides, announcements and delivery across retail, government and exhibition sites. StarBot says nine of the world’s ten largest tech firms by market cap are already customers, and the team took three 2026 global embodied-model competition titles. For European observers the signal is commercial, not cosmetic: a Chinese humanoid maker is not selling promises but a logged, repeatable logistics deployment with global blue-chip buyers, the exact proof point the field has lacked.
