Shenzhen has put 30 companies on the public markets in eight months, raising over a trillion yuan

On 8 September, Shenzhen firm Longsys listed in Hong Kong as the first ‘A+H’ standalone memory maker, taking the city’s 2026 listings to 30. It closed at 233.60 Hong Kong dollars a share.

Longsys priced at 236 Hong Kong dollars on 26.08 million shares, raising 6.154 billion Hong Kong dollars, to be spent on AI high-end memory research, controller chips and advanced packaging. Its bell-ringing is one frame in a busy Shenzhen listing year.

Per Wind, from 1 January to 8 September Shenzhen added 30 domestic and overseas listings, raising about 100.875 billion yuan, leading all Chinese cities by both count and size. Hong Kong was the main venue: 20 of the 30 went there, raising about 65.27 billion Hong Kong dollars.

The Hong Kong leaders

Among the Hong Kong-bound names were Luxshare Precision, Dongpeng Beverage, Longsys, Dalian CNC, Zhaowei, Nationz and Woer. By size, Luxshare led the Shenzhen Hong Kong haul at 25.06 billion Hong Kong dollars, with Dongpeng and Dalian CNC next at 11.099 billion and 5.558 billion.

Shenzhen’s A-share listings also had a strong year: nine firms raised about 43.543 billion yuan. The nine were China Resources New Energy, HKC, Jialichuang, Qianan Tech, Weiqi Tech, Dapu Micro, Shangshui Intelligence, Bexcel Life and Hengyunchang. China Resources New Energy led at 24.5 billion yuan, with HKC and Jialichuang next at 8.493 billion and 4.692 billion.

In August, Shenzhen firm Longdian Huaxin listed on the NYSE at 22 US dollars, raising about 94.6 million US dollars. The firm, headquartered in Shenzhen, is a leading electrolytic copper-foil maker.

Of the 30, tech names make up more than half, with semiconductors, electronics and communications near half the total, and healthcare, industry and materials also well represented.
