On 24 September AgiBot delivered its 20,000th general-purpose embodied robot, the Expedition A3 Ultra, to Chimelong Group at the Hengqin Chimelong Spaceship Park in Zhuhai, and the machine now works alongside other AgiBot robots across the resort.
The handover landed on the same day the two firms opened what they call the world’s first large-scale embodied-intelligence theme park, and unveiled a joint research institute, the Chimelong x AgiBot Embodied Intelligence Tourism Laboratory.
More than 300 AgiBot robots already run at the park across seven scenarios: entertainment shows, science-study programmes, wayfinding, retail, companion tours, hotels and sport. Guiding robots use site maps and natural-language understanding to answer queries, plan routes, lead guests and run tours. Science robots draw on vision, speech and multimodal interaction to run ocean-knowledge quizzes and games. In retail and hotel settings the robots read visitor needs and handle welcome, product advice, play and information desks.
Under the hood, AgiBot’s in-house WITA large model fuses a language model’s understanding and generation with vision, speech and motion, so a robot can read a scene, grasp a guest’s intent and act. Its LinkSoul platform then tunes each robot across five dimensions: voice, expression, persona, motion and costume, giving every unit its own sound, face and character.
From 10,000 to 20,000 in under three months
On 28 June AgiBot said its 15,000th embodied robot rolled off the line, fewer than three months after it passed the 10,000-unit milestone. Reaching the 20,000th delivery now puts its mass production on a fast track, with supply-chain integration and scale manufacturing showing high maturity.
