JD.com has launched its Physical AI Acceleration Plan alongside a Super AI Supply Chain, aiming to build what it calls the world’s largest physical-world operations centre and link data, models, hardware and industry scenarios end to end.
On data, JD Cloud will stand up the world’s largest embodied-intelligence data centre, collecting more than 10 million hours of real human-scene video over two years to ease the embodied data drought.
On infrastructure, JD plans 80-plus RoboBase robot industry parks across China within five years, offering display, delivery, repair, research, assembly, data collection, manufacturing and iteration in one place, which it bills as the world’s largest robot industry base.
On parts, JD Industrial is forming a robot-components alliance that over three years aims to cut costs across 100 robot OEMs and double revenue for 100 component suppliers, making JD the largest robot-parts supplier.
JD Retail will invest RMB 10 billion by 2028 to push 100 brands past RMB 1 billion in standalone sales and bring robots into a million terminal scenarios covering ten million users, the largest robot retail channel.
JD Logistics targets the world’s largest embodied-robot deployment corps, planning to buy 3 million robots, 1 million unmanned vehicles and 100,000 drones over five years, building on a self-developed and joint robot cluster already running across warehousing, sorting, transport and delivery.
After-sales covers more than 100 countries within five years, creating over 100,000 robot-service engineer jobs and what JD calls the world’s largest repair network.
