Past RMB 1 billion in twelve months
On 29 September Gasgoo Embodied Intelligence learned that NOWIN, also known as K-Nuo, announced another angel-plus-plus financing round of several hundred million renminbi, taking the company’s cumulative fundraising past RMB 1 billion within a year. The round was led by a JD-affiliated fund, with Zhenxingu Capital, Nanshan Strategic Emerging Industry Investment and Walden joining.
A model that learns by watching
NOWIN focuses on embodied large models and intelligent robots. Its GLOW embodied base model, aimed at global leadership, lets robots learn actions from demonstration without writing code and generalise to more scenes. On use of proceeds, the company says it will put the money three ways: accelerate data-scale growth and widen the model’s capability boundary toward higher-level embodied general intelligence. Strengthen body R&D and engineering to prepare the K-Nuo-X1 product for mass production, planned for launch and volume build in the first quarter of 2027. And keep recruiting top talent to sustain high-intensity R&D.
A home-robot ambition
NOWIN’s vision is to bring intelligent robots into every home, from understanding the world to living in daily life, making intelligence part of the everyday. The company is Shenzhen NOWIN Intelligent Co.
