PaXini has disclosed a new RMB 1 billion strategic round that lifts its cumulative funding to nearly RMB 4 billion. The investor line spans industrial capital, financial institutions, regional AI funds and market players, with the lead reported to include a global consumer-electronics and semiconductor leader and backers such as BOC International, the Kunpeng fund and Dinghui Baifu. The company has also moved its headquarters to Beijing and completed a joint-stock restructuring.

The thesis behind the capital is reliability, not demo polish. A robot that nails a task once in a video is easy; a robot that repeats it ten thousand times in a factory is the product. PaXini argues the gap shows up at the moment of physical contact, where vision alone cannot tell whether a cup wall is deforming or a load has shifted. Touch feeds that signal back before failure happens.
Variance convergence
PaXini frames the commercial question as “variance convergence”: different devices, batches and time windows should produce results that cluster tightly enough for a customer to plan capacity and justify a return. Accuracy decides whether a robot gets close; repeatability decides whether it gets the same answer; long-term stability decides whether that holds through wear, temperature swings and repeated handling.
The company runs a full stack spanning tactile sensing, multimodal data capture, dexterous hands and the robot body itself. Its PX-6AX GEN3 fingertip product is specified at up to 717 tactile channels, a 1,000 Hz output rate, IP68 protection and a measurement life above 10 million cycles. Those numbers matter only insofar as they cut task variance, reduce human takeovers and extend stable run time.
