Veteran Chinese bearing maker Luoyang Bearing lists on ChiNext after 70 years, raising RMB 1.97 billion

On 9 September, Luoyang Bearing Corporation, a Chinese high-end bearing maker with more than seventy years in the field, began trading on the ChiNext board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, adding a fresh name to the list of robot-core-component plays on the A-share market.

The firm filed for IPO tutoring with Henan regulators in July 2024 and cleared tutoring acceptance about twenty days after its application was accepted by the Shenzhen bourse in November 2025. It passed the listing committee in May 2026, roughly two years after preparations began.

In the offering, Luoyang Bearing issued 124 million shares at 15.88 yuan each. It had planned to raise 1.80 billion yuan but actually raised 1.969 billion yuan. The proceeds will fund high-speed train bogie bearings, smart production of new-energy bearings, upgrades to precision bearings for major equipment, industrialisation of high-end small turntable bearings, and repayment of bank loans.

The high-end small turntable bearing project targets precision products with high accuracy and high value, such as bearings for high-end machine-tool rotary tables, robot-series bearings and high-performance medical-device bearings.

Investors greeted the debut warmly. The stock opened at 30.00 yuan, up 88.92 per cent, rose as high as 36.59 yuan for a peak gain of 130.42 per cent, and closed at 31.99 yuan, up 101.45 per cent from the offer price, giving it a market capitalisation of 23.16 billion yuan on its first day.
