Turi AI closes first funding round to build its embodied-robotics ODM stack
Gasgoo’s Embodied Intelligence desk reports that Hangzhou Turi Intelligent Equipment (Turi AI) has closed its first round of financing in the tens of millions of yuan. The round was led by Dongli Future Tech and Tongli Tech, joined by industrial investors Huang Yuexian and Ms Liu Shaojie. Proceeds will go into building an embodied-intelligence pilot base, landing scaled production lines and expanding its senior-talent pipeline, deepening the firm’s competitive moat in the field.
As a professional embodied-robotics ODM provider and real-world data supplier, Turi AI has long focused on full-stack in-house R&D of core embodied-intelligence technologies. Built on self-developed core components, it has assembled a complete loop covering high-precision integrated joints, general motion controllers, high-performance energy-management systems, multi-form robot bodies and an embodied-intelligence data-collection and training system.
That closed loop gives Turi a one-stop ODM customisation capability, letting it quickly deliver standardised development bases for different robot forms across smart manufacturing, warehouse logistics and intelligent inspection scenarios. Deep data from its base also cuts downstream customers’ algorithm-tuning, hardware-adaptation and deployment costs, lowering the barrier to scaled embodied-intelligence adoption.
With the fresh capital, Turi will accelerate its embodied-intelligence pilot base to supply massive real-world operating data for embodied large-model training and robot-algorithm iteration, while simultaneously standing up scaled mass-production lines to convert its underlying tech advantage into stable batch-delivery capacity.
