SHANGHAI, 18 September 2026. Gasgoo’s embodied-intelligence desk reports that Shutu Technology, a Shenzhen startup, has closed a near-RMB 100 million Pre-A round, its third financing in a single month. The round was co-led by Dingshui Baifu and the Kunpeng Fund, a national-level big-data vehicle, with Guangzhou Industrial Investment and Yihe Capital joining and existing shareholder Qushi Investment topping up.

The company said the proceeds will fund further research and validation of its tactile technology and iterate the SynaTac product, while expanding into robot execution beyond its existing data business.
Shutu has built a dual-engine product matrix of SynaData and SynaTac. SynaData turns human behaviour into high-quality training data and has already been delivered and validated with more than 60 per cent of embodied-AI unicorns valued above RMB 10 billion.
Around different data-processing and training needs, SynaData has formed three data products: Syna-Ego for first-person video upscaling in real scenes, Syna-Exo for multi-view fusion and 4D upscaling, and Syna-RR for cross-embodiment motion remapping. Together they give models the relational understanding of people, objects and environments and the learning of specific operation processes. The data products have been batch-procured by leading technology vendors.
On its data base, Shutu is using SynaTac to build robot contact intelligence. SynaTac converts tactile data from different sensors and formats into a unified structured representation for contact-policy training, with a focus on aligning objects, actions and contact states and fusing vision, touch and robot state.
Alongside the dual engines, Shutu has built an embodied-data and skill evaluation system that starts from real tasks and covers data-metric evaluation, trainability evaluation, and task-and-real-environment validation. Results feed back into data production, representation optimisation, model training and skill iteration, forming a continuous loop from capability verification to product improvement.
The Seeds Discovery column, which broke the story, is Gasgoo’s platform linking startups, ecosystem partners, investors and local governments. According to Gasgoo, nearly every startup it has covered has since connected with industrial-ecosystem resources.
