Guoxun Robotics closes two rounds worth tens of millions of yuan for industrial safety-inspection robots

Hangzhou Guoxun Robotics has closed two rounds in the past half year worth tens of millions of yuan, invested by Jiuzhao Investment, Yueke Financial Group and Liang Venture Capital. Yueke is Guangdong’s largest state-owned mother-fund platform and one of China’s top five state professional fund managers, a state backing that signals capital confidence in the firm’s technology.

Guoxun had already drawn Zhonghai Investment, Daosheng Capital, Shuimu Assets, Shanda Investment and Yunzhou Capital. The new funds go to R&D, operations and team building. Founded in August 2021, Guoxun focuses on intelligent safety inspection and operation robots for industry, a high-tech firm with Chinese Academy of Sciences technical roots and state-capital backing.

It was early to launch multi-function intelligent safety-inspection robots for complex, harsh scenes: thermal-power conveyors and cooling towers, wind nacelles, chemical coking furnaces, coal outdoor conveyors and LNG receiving stations, all with self-developed first-of-kind practical inspection robots. It also created a composite machine-vision technique that keeps raising detection precision and recognition efficiency.

Its complex-scene robots include rail, standard conveyor, explosion-proof rail, coal-mine rail, explosion-proof wheeled and outdoor conveyor inspection units, plus quadruped inspectors, and special products like power-delivery robots and explosion-proof belt-tear detectors. Its rail robot handles steep climbs, tight continuous turns and V or W bends, and runs steadily through dense dust, high heat, humidity, extreme cold and strong magnetism.

Hardware wins include China’s first coal-safety licence in the inspection-robot category and the top shipment rank for thermal-power rail robots. Beyond hardware, Guoxun closes a hardware-plus-software loop: self-developed software does smart task allocation, real-time monitoring and automatic inspection records, with cloud services for data analysis and remote operation, and quick custom back-office builds for power, mining, chemical, smelting and grid clients.

Its products span power, mining, chemical, wind, oil and gas, and transport, serving almost every head SOE in Chinese energy and heavy industry: China Energy, Huaneng, Huadian, SPIC, Baowu Steel, Shaanxi Coal and CRRC. At a China Energy thermal project, a ceiling rail robot runs the conveyor-top track, inspects safely while the belt runs, and covers the whole corridor every two hours around the clock, freeing staff from risky repeat work.

At a northwest coal-chemical plant, an explosion-proof rail robot patrols the coal conveyor, stops at key points, and captures temperature, vibration, gas and dust with real-time alarms, filling the night-shift blind spot. the project passed coal-safety certification as a benchmark. Intelligent inspection is replacing manual maintenance fast: 2025 China demand reached 7,738 units and 2.748 billion yuan, and 2026 is estimated at 9,722 units and over 3.1 billion yuan.
