Yifei Intelligent Technology, a Zhejiang maker of light-industrial robots, has listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange main board, claiming the title of first all-category light-industrial robot stock. The offering caps a run that began with a 2025 domicile move from Jinan to Taizhou and a first prospectus filed five days later.
The global offering comprised 24.6 million H-shares, 10.04 per cent of post-issue capital, priced at HK$30.50 each. Gross proceeds were about HK$750 million and net proceeds about HK$673 million. Retail demand was extraordinary: the public tranche was oversubscribed 14,855.40 times, with applications worth more than HK$564.3 billion, making Yifei the most over-subscribed stock in Hong Kong exchange history.
Where the money goes
Yifei plans to use the proceeds between 2026 and 2030 as follows: roughly 40 per cent on robot technology development, 28 per cent on capacity building and production-line upgrades, 12 per cent on overseas network expansion, 10 per cent on upstream and downstream mergers and acquisitions, and the remaining 10 per cent on working capital.
The listing was backed by a long investor list built over more than ten funding rounds, including CBC Broadband, Jasic, Ivy Capital, Primavera, Guoke Yingfeng, Qisheng, FreeS and Tsinghua Star. Its pre-IPO valuation had reached RMB 3.604 billion. On the first trading day the shares opened up more than 90 per cent and closed at HK$53.75, 76.23 per cent above the offer price, for a market capitalisation of HK$13.166 billion.
