LuoHu launches an AI committee to wire its tech firms into one ecosystem

On 15 September, the LuoHu District Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) inaugurated its Artificial Intelligence Committee, accompanied by an industry matchmaking event at the LuoHu HarmonyOS Ecosystem Tower. Nearly 90 representatives from universities, industry associations, venture funds, AI member firms, domestic AI companies and traditional-sector private businesses gathered to talk trends and explore cooperation.

AI iteration is accelerating and cross-sector fusion is deepening, making it a core engine for new-quality productivity and high-quality regional growth. Drawing on LuoHu’s solid industrial base and strong business environment, the federation has assembled a roster of quality AI members spanning chips and hardware, algorithm R&D, scenario application, digital services and industrial support, including several gazelle firms and single-product champions. The district’s commerce and service economy is also digitalising fast, releasing a flood of application scenarios for AI to land and prove itself.

To match technology supply with scenario demand, the federation built a rotating-chair mechanism and formally stood up the committee, with the goals of gathering firms, strengthening coordination, completing the chain and growing the industry. Eight leading AI firms, including HuiChun Tech, iSoftStone, JiangYuan Tech, TuWei Tech, QiJi Wisdom, JieShi FeiTong, SenGe Data and YuFan Micro, were elected rotating chairs, covering smart cities, big data, IoT, machine vision, smart hardware and smart video. Twenty-six quality member firms joined the first cohort across the full R&D, application and support chain.

The committee also deepened industry-academia-research links, striking strategic partnerships with the Shenzhen Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, the Shenzhen R&D-Education Integration Centre, and the Shenzhen Robotics Association. On the capital side, it brought in HeJun Consulting, LangMaFeng Venture Capital, YuanZhi FuHai and LongTian Private Equity to build a standing investment matchmaking channel that eases the financing gap for tech firms.

At the matchmaking session, three local AI firms, JiangYuan Tech, SenGe Data and YuFan Micro, pitched lightweight, low-cost, ready-to-deploy digital solutions for smart commerce, data governance and smart hardware. The district’s ninth party congress has made AI a priority emerging industry under its “new-quality LuoHu, tech LuoHu” push, and the committee will run regular salons and supply-demand sessions to keep building the local AI brand.
