Qingtian Lituo Robotics recently broke ground on its project. The plan covers 40 mu, building a digital factory for 5,000 smart logistics robots a year, making AGV handling robots, smart warehouse systems and software, serving Yangtze delta manufacturers, due in 2027.
Qingtian Lituo is a wholly owned unit of Lite Smart (Mingguang Lituo), founded in August 2018, a national “little giant” in smart manufacturing and digital transformation, with partners including Siemens, Fanuc, Yaskawa, Kuka, Hikvision, Schneider, Emerson, Geely, Great Wall, BYD, Midea and Haier. Its robots do embedded-nut fitting, vision-guided loading, engine-head auto-tightening and auto-gluing, replacing manual steps for full-line automation.
The dull, decisive numbers
Lite’s latent and fork AGVs use SLAM laser navigation with fast deploy, self-check, port expansion, auto-charge and 360-degree safety for 7 by 24 hour duty. In Anhui, its in-mould plus end-of-line AI vision system cut defect rate 30 per cent, manual inspection cost 40 per cent and delivery time 20 per cent, while dropping equipment failure 22 per cent. The chairman, Yu Ruifu, is a Dalian Tech control-theory master and senior engineer who drives deep industry-academic ties with the school. Lite passed RMB 100 million in sales back in 2022 at a 14 per cent share.
The Qingtian plant gathers the smart-logistics robot supply chain in one county, fills a regional equipment gap and amplifies cluster effect. Smart logistics robots are the core carrier of factory automation and the lever for cost and efficiency in digital upgrade, solving low efficiency, high cost and no all-weather duty in old logistics.
QYResearch sees the global logistics-robot market at USD 32.02 billion by 2031, a 20.1 per cent compound rate. As manufacturing iterates, unmanned smart logistics has become a must, fitting many scenes and empowering transition.
