LimX Dynamics closes a 200 million dollar Pre-IPO round as European capital buys in

LimX Dynamics, a Shenzhen-based general-purpose humanoid-robot company, has closed a near 200 million US dollar Pre-IPO round at a 15 billion yuan (roughly 2.1 billion US dollar) post-money valuation, joining the ranks of China’s super unicorns. The company has raised 400 million dollars across the past six months, laying the groundwork for its next capital-market move.

The round drew top-tier global capital from China, Europe, the Middle East, North America and Southeast Asia, a spread the company frames as a vote of confidence in embodied AI’s long-term value. New investors include IDG Capital, Lens Technology, the pan-European industrial group G.G.G.Group, Redstone VC, Huashan Capital and the Hefei Binhu state industrial fund, while UAE-based Stone Venture followed on multiple rounds and returning backers Oasis Capital, Cornerstone, Nanshan, Shangqi and NIO Capital all increased their stakes.

What the money is for

Founded in 2022 with its global headquarters in Shenzhen, LimX builds full-size humanoids alongside its multi-form TRON robot, organised around three pillars: body hardware, brain-body fusion, and an embodied-agent operating system. The new capital targets three fronts, breaking through brain-body fusion and accelerating productisation, deploying thousands of autonomous humanoids at scale, and deepening its global footprint, especially in the Middle East, Europe and the rest of Asia, backed by an open developer ecosystem.

Technically, LimX runs a full-stack stack: System 0, a whole-body motion base model; System 1, covering humanoid VLA and WAM capabilities via its open-source FluxVLA training platform; and System 2, COSA, an embodied-agent OS built on large language and world models for cognition and interaction. Commercially, its products have collected thousands of orders, more than half from overseas, spanning research, services, all-terrain inspection, industry and construction. Its full-size interactive humanoid LimX Luna, launched in May, was delivering to customers within a month; the modular TRON 2 has drawn heavy overseas and domestic orders since launch.
