PaXini has secured a new RMB 1 billion strategic round, bringing cumulative funding to RMB 3.5 billion, the largest ever in tactile sensing globally, and leaving it far ahead in the embodied-perception race.

This round was co-led by a trillion-scale global consumer-electronics and semiconductor giant, BOC International Investment, the Kunpeng Fund (a national big-data fund), and HeXin FangCe, with DHC Venture, Chengdu Jiaozi AI Fund and Jinrong Guosheng joining. Returning shareholder Zhilai Capital increased its stake again.

Capital matrix: from industry to “national team plus three regional SOEs”

This is the largest and highest-calibre strategic upgrade in the embodied-perception niche to date. It signals clearly that the perception layer has entered contested ground for “national capital plus local AI funds.”

The lead investors show a clear strategic gradient. The global consumer-electronics and semiconductor giant has been extremely selective in embodied AI, backing only two firms so far; PaXini is one, its tactile scheme already woven into the giant’s global supply chain core. BOC International and the Kunpeng Fund represent national financial power anchoring perception data assets and core sensors. Chengdu Jiaozi and Jinrong Guosheng come from the Chengdu-Chongqing and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei AI hubs, forming a three-region fund matrix with top market institutions.

Tactile as the data floor of Physical AI

PaXini has always done the hard and correct thing: driving general intelligence with a full-stack self-developed embodied-perception matrix. Because it understands the full stack of humanoids and algorithms, it sees where force-tactile technology truly goes, and helps customers deploy it natively.

The home of tactile data is the data floor of Physical AI, not the sensor itself. The sensor is only an entry point. The real value is the structured perception data, and the physical common sense only real data can train into an embodied model. PaXini’s endgame is to be the standard-setter and infrastructure anchor of physical-interaction data in the Physical AI era.

The lead investor’s entry means more than money. It is a decisive bet on the next-generation human-machine interaction path. PaXini, having run the full stack first, naturally holds the first-mover position in scaled commercial use.

That edge is showing in the numbers. Over the past year PaXini’s self-developed tactile chips approached 1 million units consumed. Its massive multimodal data is already used by leading embodied-base-model firms and mega internet giants. With market fit proven at scale, PaXini has cleared the perception-track product-market fit first.

Training with tactile data has been shown to lift task success rates. As vision and language data dividends peak, physical-interaction data is becoming the next fuel for the embodied Scaling Law. PaXini’s data factories keep producing structured tactile data so embodied models learn transferable physical common sense, the leap from “can move” to “can actually work.”
